Business Opportunities For Pet Lovers

The Whole Dog strives to bring you only the very best health and nutritional products for your pets.

We also offer our customers the opportunity to sell some of the products that we offer.  These are not get quick rich schemes (I think we've all been involved in at least one of those), but rather vehicles to earn a good  part time income and in some cases, some very serious money.

Like with everything else in life though, the results you achieve are directly correlated with the effort put forth. With that said, we are offering rep/distributor programs for some of the product lines that we sell.  In particular, we are looking for individuals and small business owners to join our organization and assist others in achieving their goals.  All products are shipped directly form the manufacturer so their are no inventory requirements.

I am committed to assisting you in building your business if you are serious and commited yourself to do the same.

The companion animal industry has shown steady growth over the past few years. The total companion animal industry is anticipated to increase 4% per year to reach total sales of $8 billion in 2006 for animal health products.

This growth trend is supported by concerns regarding overuse of antibiotics, emerging new diseases and by increased availability of pet insurance. Currently, combined dog and cat food sales total $30 billion annually.

How many cats and dogs live within a 60 mile radius of your household? Let us look at specific information of the dog and cat markets. Demographic information compiled from the American Pet Products Manufacturers Assoc. 2001-2002 National Pet owners survey tells us that households in the United States own over 68 million dogs and 73 million cats.

This means that 4 of 10 households own at least one dog while 3 of 10 households own at least one cat. On average, pet-owning households own either 2 cats or dogs.

These households spend an average of $700-900 for food, treats, veterinary bills on a yearly basis per cat and dog respectively.

Opportunities abound for expanding your business into metropolitan areas.
