Breeders and new puppy owners are puzzled and heartbroken – their vaccinated puppies are contracting Parvo and wiping out entire litters. Was the vaccine diluted? Had it gotten warm and lost its potency? Was this a new and hotter strain of the virus that the vaccine did not cover? NO! Vaccines do not protect, they do not immunize! In fact, they do just the opposite – they compromise the immune system and set the body up for disease – vaccinated animals become more susceptible to the very dis-ease/virus they are supposed to be protected from!
I worked as a licenced veterinary technician for a while and had puppies come in with parvo weekly. The majority of these puppies had been vaccinated at least once and most had received all three and sometimes four “puppy shots”. Nine out of ten times these puppies were violently ill and had to be hospitalized, set up with IVs and isolated. They would be in our care for two or three weeks sometimes if they did not succumb to the virus and die in the first week; which sadly, many of them did. The occasional puppy that came in with parvo that had never been vaccinated was always treated on an out-patient basis where they were strong enough to just receive subQ fluids (just under the skin on the nape of the neck) and went back home just after receiving the fluids and would come back in later in the day for more and go home again for the night. These un-vaccinated puppies were never as sick as the vaccinated ones and always recovered in a matter of four or 5 days.
When the body is exposed to a virus naturally, via its first line of defence – the Th1 level of the immune system, (the mucous membranes in the nose, mouth and lungs) the immune system is quickly able to recognize the virus as an enemy and mount a strong defense against it before it ever reaches the blood stream – Natural Immunity!
However when a virus (and a myriad of toxic chemicals, heavy metals, etc.) is introduced to the body via an injection into the blood stream, totally by-passing the immune system’s first line of defence it is a “surprise attack” on the second line of defence — (called the Th2 level of the immune system) which is very distressing to the body. Vaccines’ repeated “back-door assaults” on the Th2 level of the immune system “flip the switch” and it becomes hyper-sensitive indefinitely and and compels it to react inappropriately from then on to other normally harmless substances; the result is a generation of pets with damaged immune systems who suffer from food and environmental allergies, asthma, IBD, shortened life spans and increasingly more life threatening auto-immune disorders.
